Dr. David Kang, DMD, MS, MMSc
Endodontist
Dr. David Kang is passionate about providing comfortable, precise, and evidence-based endodontic care for his patients. Originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, he began his academic journey in Computer Engineering at Georgia Tech and worked as a computer engineer at IBM before following his true calling in healthcare. He went on to earn a master’s degree in Biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University and later his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine.
To further specialize in root canal therapy and advanced endodontic treatments, Dr. Kang completed his residency at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where he also earned a Master of Medical Sciences (MMSc) in Oral Biology.

Dr. Kang takes pride in educating his patients, ensuring they fully understand their diagnosis and treatment options. Known for his gentle and attentive approach, he strives to make every visit as comfortable and stress-free as possible.
Teaching & Mentorship
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Kang has taught endodontics to dental residents through the NYU Langone Hospitals AEGD Program and enjoys mentoring the next generation of dentists.
Outside the Office
Dr. Kang treasures time with his wife, Leah, and their two young sons, Remi and Flynn. Together, they love traveling, discovering new foods, and exploring local restaurants—always on the lookout for their next family adventure.
